Wedding savings calculator

Enter what the wedding will cost, what you have already saved and any money you have been promised, plus when you start saving and the wedding date. You see what is still to save and how much that is per month or per week. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Your numbers made-up example: replace with your own

Only count promised money you are sure of. Vendors often want final payments before the wedding day; if so, use your last payment date instead of the wedding date. No interest is added.

How it works

Still to save = total cost − already saved − promised money. Monthly deposits = whole months from the start date to the wedding date. Each month = still to save ÷ monthly deposits. Weekly deposits = whole weeks between the dates; each week = still to save ÷ weekly deposits.

Worked example (the made-up values above): $24,000.00 − $6,500.00 − $3,000.00 leaves $14,500.00 to save. From 2026-12-01 to 2027-09-18 there are 9 whole months (2026-12-01 to 2027-09-01, plus 17 days), so 9 monthly deposits from 2026-12-01 to 2027-08-01 of $14,500.00 ÷ 9 = $1,611.11. The same period is 291 days, or 41 whole weeks, so weekly saving would be $14,500.00 ÷ 41 = $353.66.
