Payments are spaced in calendar months back from the final due date; if a month is shorter, the last day of that month is used. Each payment is rounded to the cent and the last one takes the rounding difference so the total matches the quote exactly.

How it works

Deposit = quote × deposit % ÷ 100 (rounded to the cent). Balance = quote − deposit. Each payment = balance ÷ number of payments, rounded to the cent; the last payment = balance − the others. Payment k is due (payments − k) × months-between before the final due date.

Worked example (the made-up values above): a $2,750.00 quote with a 30% deposit means $825.00 at booking and a $1,925.00 balance. Split into 3 monthly payments, $1,925.00 ÷ 3 = $641.666…, so the first two are $641.67 and the last is $1,925.00 − $1,283.34 = $641.66. Counting back from the final due date of 2027-05-15, the payments fall on 2027-03-15, 2027-04-15 and 2027-05-15, and the four payments add up to $2,750.00.
